Bishop Tyrrell School was buzzing with excitement and energy as it played host to the highly anticipated da Vinci Decathlon last week. Over the course of three action-packed days, 70 teams from schools across the Hunter region converged on our campus, ready to showcase their intellectual prowess and vie for a coveted spot in the state final later this year. The atmosphere was electric, the competition fierce, and the spirit of camaraderie palpable.

The da Vinci Decathlon, an academic competition that covers ten disciplines ranging from mathematics and science to art and drama, is not for the faint of heart. It requires teamwork, critical thinking, and a broad range of knowledge. And let me tell you, the teams that participated did not disappoint. Their dedication and enthusiasm were truly remarkable, and their performances left us in awe.

A special shoutout goes to our very own BTAC teams, who brought their A-game and made us immensely proud. Their hard work and perseverance paid off as they achieved a number of top results, including securing gold, silver, and bronze medals. Their remarkable achievements reflect the commitment and talent they possess, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
