Vision and Values

Our vision

Working towards a single vision keeps us on track, as individual leaders, with the greater purpose we set out to achieve

“Our vision is to be a learning gateway to a world of opportunities for our students. We prepare them well for the years that follow schooling by encouraging them to embrace their individual talents and interests, strive for excellence and seize the day.”

Vision
“We prepare students for the world beyond school and encourage them to embrace their individual talents and interests, strive for excellence and seize the day.”

Our values

Our values are what we believe in and stand for. They drive all that we do and set us apart as individuals and as a collective.

  • Belonging

We are an inclusive learning community that creates an environment where all students have equal access to learning, fostering a sense of belonging and empowering them to embrace diversity and collaborate effectively.

  • Excellence

We strive for excellence as it drives curiosity and innovation, gives young people permission to explore, encourages agency to affect change, builds sense of self-esteems, inspires purpose and place in the community, and equips our students with the knowledge and capacity to achieve financial and social success as adults.

  • Faith

Our understanding of Christian faith compels us to welcome all people, regardless of colour, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, social or economic class, and nationality, precisely because of Christ's calling to treat others as we desire to be treated.

  • Innovation

The drive to innovate compels our students to use a higher level of thinking to solve complex problems and to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills .

  • Kindness

The desire in our students to be kind means we have a culture that puts other people’s needs before our own and positively contributes to mental health and wellbeing of our entire community.

  • Service

Through service our students learn about their relationship with their community, they learn more about their capacity to give and love, they better understand the meaning of responsible citizenship and develop a compassionate cultural awareness.
