Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College - Fletcher, Newcastle, Williamtown

2019 Scholarship Testing

Bishop William Tyrrell, in whose honour the College was named, was a strong advocate for quality and accessible education. This philosophy remains core, and we are proud to offer a number of scholarships to eligible students.

In 2018, scholarships will be open to current Bishop Tyrrell students as well as external applicants*, and will be offered for the following year groups:

Primary Academic Scholarships

  • Students entering Year 4, Year 5 or Year 6 in 2018

Secondary Academic Scholarships

  • Students entering Year 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 in 2018

Music Scholarships

Music scholarships will be open to any student entering Year 7 or above in 2018. In addition to sitting the Academic scholarship tests, students who wish to be considered for a music scholarship will be required to audition. The audition will include the performance of two pieces on any instrument (including voice), and will take place after the conclusion of the academic testing.

To register for a Music scholarship, please contact the Registrar. (Please note, Music scholars must also register and sit the Academic testing to be eligible for consideration).
