Welcome to Bishop Tyrrell
Anglican College

Established in 1998 to meet the demands of the growing community in the North West region of Newcastle, Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College is a co-educational day school for students from Preschool to Year 12.

With some 730 students in its school community, the College, located in Fletcher, draws students from beyond its immediate environment with students from the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Maitland and Toronto joining the school family. Families are attracted to the College by its reputation for academic excellence underpinned by its commitment to the arts, sport and music all within a caring, Christian environment. The partnership of professional educators and committed families enables each learner to discover individual talents and to grow as a person.

Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College is a school that promotes excellence in all things, encouraging students to challenge themselves and to achieve their full potential. Our students are encouraged to become independent, critical thinkers with an ongoing love of learning.

Our 2012 CRICOS Registration now enables us to welcome a growing number of international students to our school family.

The College Campus is leafy and spacious and offers the very best in educational facilities. Dedicated, free direct buses have been introduced to make travel to and from the school convenient and accessible for students and their families. The College offers all this and more within an affordable fee structure providing outstanding value
