Duke of Edinburgh Award at BTAC

Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College has recently introduced the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme (DoE) under the leadership of Mr Joel Cruickshank. This program is designed to empower senior school students to explore their full potential, find their purpose, passion, and place in the global community. It is an exceptional program that provides opportunities for young men and women to develop positive qualities and attitudes that will help them become active and helpful members of their community.

The Duke of Edinburgh Program is a prestigious program that has been designed to challenge young people to push themselves to achieve their goals. It encourages participants to take part in a range of activities that develop their skills, physical abilities, and social awareness. The program is designed to promote self-improvement and personal development and helps young people develop the qualities they need to succeed in life.

All students who sign up to complete the program at Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College will be supported by a network of people both within and outside the college. This support network will provide encouragement and guidance to help participants complete the program successfully.

Mr Cruickshank, the program leader, has worked tirelessly throughout his career to ensure that young people develop a love for sport and physical activity. He believes that the Duke of Edinburgh Program is an excellent opportunity for young people to develop qualities such as courage, resilience, independence, and resourcefulness. It also encourages them to be active and helpful members of their community, which is a wonderful opportunity.
