2025 Kindergarten Orientation

Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College

Our Kindergarten Orientation program is designed to help your child feel excited, comfortable, and confident about starting school.

Each session offers a chance to build friendships, connect with teachers, and experience life at “big school” in a supportive way.

Drop Off & Pick Up

  • Drop-off: Parents can drop off their children at the front gate (Karn Street entrance) at 4:00pm, where they will be greeted by staff and escorted to the classroom. We encourage parents to drop and go, allowing the children to begin developing their independence in a supportive setting. Our staff will be present to ensure your child feels safe and comfortable throughout the session.

  • Pick-up: Staff will walk the children back to meet parents and carers at the front gate (Karn Street entrance) for pick-up at 5:00pm.

* Please note: Preschool children will need to be picked up prior to 4:00pm, as preschool staff will not be taking children over to the orientation sessions. If your child is attending OOSH, the OOSH teacher will take them over to the hall from the Preschool and return them afterward at 5:00pm.
