Year 7 Transition Program

We are very excited to welcome your child into our Secondary School in 2022. To help transition your child from primary to secondary school, we host Transition Days for all students enrolled to enter Year 7 in 2022.

We are very excited to welcome your child into our Secondary School in 2022. To make the process of transitioning into high school a smooth experience, we host Transition Days for all enrolled students entering Year 7 in 2022. The program allows current and new students to meet their peers, explore the Secondary campus, participate in high school lessons and activities, and have their questions answered.

We aim to give our new Year 7 students and their parents all of the information they need to ensure they are confident and ready to begin high school in 2022.

Read our Principal's blog post about the importance of transitioning to high school.

Transition Days

All Year 6 students enrolled or being enrolled at the College for Year 7, 2022 will experience what a day in Year 7 is like by participating in activities led by some of our Secondary Departments – Science, STEM, Visual Arts, and Music.

Students are asked to wear their current school sports uniform and meet at the TLA. New students will be met at the front gates by our student leaders and escorted by their new friends.

Students should bring a packed lunch, drink bottle, and a hat with them. Their transition day will finish at 2.30 pm.

New students can be collected by parents from the front gate. Current students will leave the College as per normal.
