We recognise the need to support you in your efforts to balance work and family. That’s why we offer before and after school care and vacation care programs for students in Preschool to Year 7. Our centre is located on campus, making it convenient for drop off and pick up.
At BTAC OOSH, we provide a fun, supportive and inclusive environment where kids can play, explore, be creative and use their imaginations. It’s also a great opportunity for children to socialise and build friendships with all primary ages, supported by our friendly staff.
Our OOSH service is registered with the Australian Government. Eligible families can claim the Child Care Subsidy, which is paid directly to the service, reducing the fees.
After our OOSH staff have confirmed a teacher is on playground duty, children can go play and prepare for the school day. In Term 1, Kindies are walked to their playground/classroom areas.
Students come straight down to the OOSH Room, where all children are signed in and accounted for. In Term 1, OOSH staff collect Kindies from the class meeting point to help them settle into the new routine and environment
Our vacation care program is released two weeks before each holiday period. You can also ask to see our vacation care program at our OOSH centre.
Children going into Kindergarten can attend vacation care in the January school holidays before they start school. This is a great opportunity for them to become familiar with the college environment and socialise with other children coming to the school.
Toast and cereal options are provided between 6.30 am and 8 am.
Fruit platters and a range of snacks, including corn chips, popcorn, rice cakes, muesli bars, and crackers are provided after school.
Families are asked to pack morning tea and lunches. Breakfast and afternoon tea are provided unless noted otherwise on the program.
Children can be enrolled permanently or on a casual basis. If you just want to use OOSH casually, you don’t need a permanent ongoing booking. Simply contact the team to book in before 1pm on any day. Please note this is subject to spaces being available.
