What to Expect

Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College - Fletcher, Newcastle, Williamtown

Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College inspires students to learn, lead and serve in a caring, Christian environment. Starting at a new school means there are plenty of things to take care of before the first day.

Preschool

The Preschool has one structured group time per day from 8am – 4pm.
Upon enrolment, children should be able to:

  • Dress themselves
  • Wash and dry their hands independently
  • Follow simple directions
  • Open, pack and close school bags, lunch boxes and drinks independently

Primary (Kindergarten to Year 6)

The Primary School operates from 8.40am to 3.00pm.

Prior to commencement in the Primary School, new students will attend an Orientation Day. This is usually held late in the year prior to the new school year. Students will meet their teachers, new friends and receive information that will help them through their first school days at Bishop Tyrrell.

Secondary (Years 7 to 12)

The Secondary School operates from 8.40am to 3.10pm.

Prior to commencement in the Secondary School, new students will attend an Orientation Day. This is usually held late in the year prior to the new school year. Students will meet their teachers, new friends and receive information that will help them through their first school days at Bishop Tyrrell.
