Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College is part of the Newcastle Anglican School Corporation. The College Council acts as an advisory of the College.
The Bishop appoints the Principal who assumes overall responsibility for the operation of the College.
Council members are drawn from within the School community and beyond and bring a wide range of knowledge and experience to the College.

Warwick is a partner in a legal practice that operates in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie/Central Coast/Sydney area and has 40 years’ experience as a legal practitioner. He is a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia, the Law Society of New South Wales, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Board of Directors of the Business Centre Newcastle and the All Saints Anglican Church of New Lambton, serving on the Parish Council.

Prior to retirement, Sue worked in the Public Sector where she gained experience in policy and strategy development and implementation, quality management and the development and marketing of information and education products. She is an active member of the Anglican Church in Charlestown and within the Newcastle Diocese.

Hugh is currently a financial planner and the Chairman of PKF Wealth in Newcastle. He has experience in accounting, auditing, business structuring, forensic accounting, financial planning and taxation advice.

Dean of the Sydney Campus at the University of Newcastle and previously a Deputy Vice Chancellor at the University of Sydney, Professor Ann Brewer is the most recent addition to the Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College Board. With a PhD in Organisational Behaviour, a Master of Commerce and a BA in Behavioural Sciences, Ann offers a wealth of educational and business expertise. She has authored or co-authored eight management reference books, and her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications across the globe.

Arthur Copeman is the Archdeacon of Newcastle and the Rector of the Parish of All Saints ANeW, based at New Lambton. Arthur is a member of Executive of the Standing Committee of the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia and an elected member of the Anglican Consultative Council. Arthur is also a member of the Diocesan Council of the Diocese of Newcastle and a member of the Provincial Synod Standing Committee. He is married to Anabelle and they have three children and four grandchildren.
